CODE, COURSE & LAB PROGRAM
A. LAB CODE
Lab work is a very enjoyable activity but it is also a serious industrial exercise. You are expected to use professional equipment and tools. You will work with line voltage.
a. Read the LABORATORY RULES carefully and abide by them at all times
b. No jokes using hand tools, equipment or wires
c. There may be up to 26 students working in the same lab; work quietly
d. Borrowing
others hand tools or equipment is against accepted “good industrial practices”;
always come to the lab with your tools and material
e. SAFETY MEANS NO ACCIDENT
Your lab work will be evaluated on your lab reports. You are expected to respond to the exercises at the end of each chapter on a lab report. Use A4 size 5 mm squared paper for reports. Reports must be clear and intelligible. You are expected to hand in the report for every chapter before the dates in the following program:

Suggested progress of the course and lab work through the term is given in the
attached calendar. Students who finish the experiment of a particular chapter
and submit the report before the defined deadline are encouraged to proceed
with the next experiment.
